Organization and Position Overview

We are excited to announce the hiring of a Program Manager to help with the launch of a new employment program called Weld Works. Weld Works is being established to help our members find employment and will be a temporary labor pool that encourages employers to hire individuals full-time. If you have experience in construction, temporary labor, workforce, sales, and a passion for helping others, you are encouraged to apply. Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Oversee and coordinate the planning and implementation of all aspects of the program

  • Train, mentor, coach and develop labor team members

  • Maintain scheduling for labor assignments

  • Manage labor team

  • Work with labor teams on site as needed

  • Drive job site safety and establish job site safety expectations

  • Provide transportation for labor team

  • Establish and maintain relationships with developers, builders and service providers

  • Provide reports on progress of labor team

  • Secure new opportunities for labor force

  • Assist with maximizing profitability with a focus on long term growth without compromising safety, quality of labor and labor planning

  • Assist in developing and maintaining customer relationships to enhance company’s ability to procure projects, reduce risk and ensure operational efficiency

  • Work in cooperation with other Weld staff to negotiate and execute sales contracts consistent with mission

  • Provide data entry and track progress on labor pool

  • Perform special projects and completes all other duties as assigned or requested for the general support of organization

Qualifications

  • At least 5 years of construction experience

  • Demonstrated experience with business development, client development and staff management

  • Strong organizational skills

  • Proven experience managing others

  • Valid drivers license

  • Willingness to travel locally

  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and G-Suite

  • At least 1-2 years in sales experience

  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs frequently

  • Ability to take and pass a pre-employment drug test and maintain a drug free lifestyle (including marijuana)

  • You have excellent organizational and task management skills and possesses the ability to work in a high paced environment with the ability to prioritize
